Vets Student Experience Fund

Vet students need your help. The Vet Student Fund provides funding to support those in need and improve the wellbeing and development of veterinary students.

Veterinary students can face numerous challenges when navigating their degrees. Both the length and intensity of their courses leaves students particularly vulnerable to financial difficulties and concerns, especially in the current cost of living crisis. Aspiring vets studying at the University of Liverpool will be helped to fulfil their ambitions thanks your support.

Your support can give vets the means to excel outside the classroom, improving their mental wellbeing. For students at the Leahurst Campus, your gift can provide support for team sports and group activities such as yoga. Your support can give students a lifeline, creating a community and providing activities that benefit their wellbeing.

Support for the Vet Student Fund gives the University flexibility to use your donations where the students need them most. This is a fund to ensure veterinary students can make the most of their time here at Liverpool.

Every donation, no matter how large or small, really does make a huge difference to our veterinary students. If you would like to make a regular gift to support our veterinary students then please see here

Thanks to the Vet Student Fund I was able to partake in veterinary drawing classes. It made such a nice change to be creative on a science-based course. It was a break away from lectures and practical’s but I still learnt and made new friends. Veterinary can feel relentless at times, so being able to sit with no distractions and just draw helped me reset. With exams approaching it’s nice to know I have a time to just step away.
