Support our fundraising priorities
Over the next five years, the Development and Alumni Relations team plans to raise in excess of £20 million to support world-class research and help provide greater opportunities for students at the University.
In response to the global coronavirus pandemic, our main fundraising priority at this time is to support University researchers in developing a better understanding of the virus, the development of new drug treatments and vaccines and in supporting the NHS and our health partners across the city.
We are still continuing with our current fundraising projects during this time; these include a brand new music auditorium in the teaching and performance centre which opens in 2021, and undergraduate and postgraduate scholarships which aim to support the very core of our work; scholarship, leadership and research, and ensuring that our students have access to a truly global education. Together, donors and researchers are working together to tackle some of the world’s greatest challenges, from climate change to global health.
