Share your Eurovision memories!

Posted on: 8 February 2023 by Development and Alumni Relations team in 2023

In May this year, Liverpool will proudly host the Eurovision Song Contest on behalf of Ukraine. Our University community together with the city of Liverpool will be ‘United by Music’. As well as Eurovision events taking place across the city, the University will host its own Eurovision Festival across campus.

We’ll be sharing the music, stories and memories of this unique cultural event, as well as celebrating our special relationship with our friends in Ukraine. And this is where you come in!

We’re looking for your Eurovision memories.

Did you and your friends host Eurovision parties in halls? Do you have any favourite Eurovision memories? Have you got Eurovision photos you’d be happy for us to share? Do you have a message you’d like to share with our friends in Ukraine? Your story could feature in the University’s official Eurovision coverage, on publicity materials or on our social channels!

And if you need a quick memory jog, take a look at some winner highlights since Eurovision came to be in 1956!
