Alumna Dr Jasmin Malik returns to Liverpool to discuss her clinical work and her debut book
We were delighted to welcome GP and Health Inclusion Specialist Dr Jasmin Malik (MBChB 2007) back to campus this Spring as part of her book tour. On the day, Dr Malik met with Academic Programme Director Dr Neil Henney and led an online event and insightful conversation spanning clinical practice, lifestyle medicine and health inequalities.

Welcome to the Veterinary Science Class of 2026
Congratulations to the Class of 2026, who joined the veterinary profession on Thursday 16 July. It is always special to see five years of hard work and dedication acknowledged in the Liverpool Philharmonic Hall, followed by the RCVS Swearing-In Ceremony in the Sherrington Lecture Theatre and a celebration on the lawns of the Leahurst campus.

Coming full circle: Alison Reid returns to Glasgow Vet School
Alison Reid spent nearly twelve years as a Lecturer in Veterinary Preclinical Sciences and Clinical Skills at Liverpool Vet School. In September 2025, she returned to her native Scotland to join her alma mater, Glasgow Vet School, as BVMS1 Co-Course Leader. Alison shared what inspired her to pursue a career in veterinary education, reflected on her time at Liverpool and explained what her new role at Glasgow Vet School entails.

Building a community for Women’s Health at the University of Liverpool
