The approval was the culmination of more than three years of work to set up the Association by the University in conjunction with a committee of volunteers.
Membership of the Association is open to all alumni and current students either from Singapore or living in Singapore. Its aims include fostering and promoting mutual friendship and shared bonds among alumni, working with the University to help alumni retain a connection with Liverpool, offering advice and support to all Singaporeans with a connection to the University, and much more.
The Association will hold events for members and provide a mechanism for networking and receiving career and life support for more than 500 alumni and current students currently living in Singapore.
