The University of Liverpool UAE Alumni Network brings together a growing community of graduates across the region, creating opportunities to reconnect, collaborate, and build meaningful professional and social connections. Since its recent development, the network has gained strong momentum through regular engagement, events, and the dedication of alumni volunteers.
Meet our Alumni Ambassadors
Badry Bawady (MSc Information Technology 2005): with over 20 years’ experience in education, he has held a range of senior leadership roles across international schools, contributing to the development of high-quality learning environments. Passionate about educational innovation, he has supported investors and stakeholders in establishing and developing schools across the UAE, with expertise in leadership, curriculum development, and strategic planning. Since 2006, Badry has served as the University’s first Alumni Ambassador in the UAE and is now the Alumni Ambassador Lead for the UAE, playing a key role in strengthening the alumni network and supporting graduates across the region.
Ahmed A. Hagger (MBA 2009): Ahmed is a hospitality leader and General Manager at Emaar Hospitality Group, with extensive experience in hotel operations, service excellence, and team leadership. Holding both an LLB and an MBA, he combines legal insight with strong commercial and strategic expertise. As UAE Alumni Ambassador Lead, Ahmed works alongside Badry to support initiatives that strengthen connections, encourage networking, and foster engagement among graduates across the UAE.
