It’s National Volunteers’ Week!
National Volunteers’ Week has come around again and at the University we are excited to celebrate the wonderful volunteers who have given their time to support us in the past 12 months. Just this year more than 1200 volunteers have donated more than 6800 hours of their time – it’s been a very busy year for our alumni volunteers!

Volunteer spotlight: Jen Kehlenbeck
Since graduating with an MA in English Literature in 2022, Jen has been involved in volunteering activities at the University. In this Volunteer Spotlight, she reflects on the ‘Your Futures’ panel event she took part in earlier this year, where she shared her insight and advice as a recent graduate entering the job market with current students.

Volunteer spotlight: Nicola Harris
Nicola Harris (LLB Hons 2004) first heard about the Liverpool Law Clinic from Professor Debra Morris, former Dean of the School of Law and Social Justice, in 2016 when it was still being set up at the School. The clinic then opened shortly after and Nicola has been involved ever since.

Volunteer spotlight: Josh Dally
Josh Dally is a recent Politics graduate (BA Hons 2021) who took part in a ‘Your Futures’ event organised by the University earlier this year, in which he shared his experience of entering the job market as a young graduate and shared advice and tips with our current students.

Volunteer spotlight: Shubh Kantharia
Shubh is a 2022 MSc Marketing graduate and he returned to the campus earlier this year to take part in a ‘Your Futures’ event to inspire and give advice to current students who are getting ready to take their first steps in their careers.
