THE SINGH TWINS: Botanical Tales and Seeds of Empire by internationally acclaimed artists The Singh Twins showcases a striking new body of work inspired by Kew’s botanical archives. Displayed as fabric light boxes, these explore the deep connections between botany, empire and trade.

Meet the Scientists 10 Year Extravaganza

Celebrate 10 years of Meet the Scientists at the World Museum on Saturday 18th October! Scientists from across the University of Liverpool will be taking over the museum for a fun-filled day of discovery, science and wonder!

You can expect creative crafts, interactive experiments, as well as performances and demonstrations throughout the day.

Indika Festival

Indika is one of Europe’s largest festivals of Indian classical arts, taking place biennially in Liverpool. The festival offers something for everyone with an incredible mix of music and dance performance, talks, workshops and films, all of which feature both internationally renowned and British talent.

Head to the Victoria Gallery & Museum for a spellbinding, Harry Potter-inspired day of magic and science! Get creative and make sustainable spell books, broomstick pencils, and woodland wands and bookmarks, plus meet the University scientists to uncover the science behind the spells and discover more about magical medicinal plants. Dressing as your favourite witch or wizard is encouraged! All ages welcome.

Turner: Always Contemporary

The Walker Art Gallery has revealed new details about its major upcoming exhibition, Turner: Always Contemporary (25 October 2025 – 22 February 2026). The landmark exhibition, which marks 250 years since the artist’s birth, will bring internationally important artworks by JMW Turner (1775-1851) and a host of contemporary artists to Liverpool.

You can also get creative with crafts and build a gnome home from recycled books, make a mini origami book, and create bookmarks from recycled books.
