We’re busy working on the next edition of our wonderful Alumni Magazine and know that some of your favourite sections are ones where you can find out what your classmates are up to now.

This year, we’ve got four ways you can feature in the next edition, which we will send to all of our graduates, supporters, staff and students.

Remember, to receive your digital Alumni Magazine we’ll need your up-to-date email address.

1. Where are you now? Tell us via Classmate Connect

We know our graduates love to read about where their classmates are now and reconnect. This year, you can share your story to LinkedIn and, if you use the hashtag #LivUniGrad within the post, your update will be pulled into the Magazine.

It would be lovely to see a photo of your graduation with the post too. To take part, simply post about what you are up to on LinkedIn using #LivUniGrad and we'll do all the rest.

For inspiration, we’ve drafted a possible LinkedIn post below, but feel free to share your own update if you’d prefer.

🎓 Graduation feels like yesterday – here’s what’s happened since!

I graduated with a degree in English in 2000, and it’s been quite the journey since walking across that stage.

Today, I’m a Marketing Executive at LEGO, combining my love for storytelling with creative brand strategy. It’s a role I never imagined back then, but one that feels like the perfect fit now.

My time at university gave me a foundation in critical thinking, communication, and creativity -skills I still rely on every day.

2. Desert Island Uni Discs:  Add songs to The Sound of University of Liverpool Spotify playlist

Music is such a big part of all our student days and hearing one song from our Uni days can take us right back to nights out at The Raz or the Guild.

We want to share your favourite songs from your time at the University so if you have a song you’d like to add to your class Spotify playlist, send us up to three songs. We’ll share links to the final playlists in this autumn’s Alumni Magazine.

Please do share the form with your friends too – we’d love to get as many songs included as possible that take you back to your university days.

You can submit songs to the following playlists

  • The Sound of University of Liverpool in the 50s
  • The Sound of University of Liverpool in the 60s
  • The Sound of University of Liverpool in the 70s
  • The Sound of University of Liverpool in the 80s
  • The Sound of University of Liverpool in the 90s
  • The Sound of University of Liverpool in the 00s
  • The Sound of University of Liverpool in the 2010s
  • The Sound of University of Liverpool in the 2020s

3. Share your story via Class Notes

What have you been up to since graduating? Share your story via our Class Notes section. All you need to do is complete this short form and we’ll do the rest. For inspiration, you can read last year’s Class Notes here.

4. In Memoriam

If your graduate friend or loved one has passed in the last 12 months, and you would like to include their name in our In Memoriam section please get in touch with the Alumni team. We will update their University record and include their name within this section of the Alumni Magazine.
