Department of Music Showcase

The University of Liverpool’s Music Department offers the study of an incredibly wide range of musical genres, with students performing music from renaissance polyphony to electronica.
This concert will showcase some of the very best of these student performances, displaying the talents of the next generation of musical artists.
Luke Jerram’s Helios at Liverpool Cathedral

For the first time ever, Luke Jerram's illuminated sculpture of the Sun will premiere at the Liverpool Cathedral.

Altar's Pottery Tournament

Participants are allowed to prepare templates and are encouraged to bring their own hand tools and accessories. Each masterpiece must be fully constructed during this 4 hour long session.
Theme: Medieval Cathedral
Objective: Candle Holder
Paddleboarding sessions at Liverpool Watersport Centre
📍 Queens Dock, Liverpool
In this session you will learn to prone paddle for self rescue, how to stand up, paddle whilst kneeling, climb back on your board if you fall off! You'll also learn how to use the leash, personal safety, how to set the height of your paddle, how to turn and stop the board - all with the Liverpool skyline as your backdrop.
