Bayan said: “One of my most cherished memories from my time at the University was graduating alongside my twin. As international students from Oman, we faced many challenges adjusting to life in the UK but having each other made all the difference. We both supported each other through the highs and lows of university life, whether it was late-night study sessions or navigating cultural differences.

On graduation day, it was incredibly special to walk across the stage, not just for myself, but for us both. I attended her graduation as well and seeing her receive her degree filled me with pride and joy. It felt like a shared achievement, a culmination of all our hard work together, and I’ll always treasure that bond we strengthened at Liverpool.”

Rayan added: “Sharing graduation day with my twin made it all the more unforgettable. From the moment we put on our caps and gowns, there was a special kind of joy in knowing we had both reached this significant milestone together. The day felt even more meaningful because I got to share it with the  person who had been by my side through every step of our university journey.”

Bayan’s message to the Class of 2024
