Sir Robin stepped down as Arm’s CEO in 2001 and chairman in 2006.
Sir Robin’s time at the University
Sir Robin began his studies at the University of Liverpool in 1965, studying Electronics. He was one of the first students to live in Roscoe Hall and became President of the Roscoe Hall Committee. Sir Robin graduated in 1968 and gained his Doctor of Engineering in 2000.
Once citing Liverpool as his “foundation for life”, we’re delighted Sir Robin continued his lifelong relationship with the University acting as a founding donor to our Management School in 2002 and a former member of the University's fundraising volunteer board.
