This year’s Alumni magazine is now available for you to read. This edition includes interviews with some of our leading alumni, lawyer and Escape to the Country presenter Denise Nurse, social engineer Jenny Radcliffe, and tech entrepreneur Jesse Lyu.

We’re celebrating success at the University with a word from the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Tim Jones and we look ahead at our ambitions with the University Council President, Carmel Booth.

You’ve been sharing your personal memories of your time at Liverpool, along with your updates on where life has taken you since graduating in our Class Notes feature.

The Liverpool School of Architecture is celebrating 100 years, and we take look back at its history and we spotlight our global and life-changing research undertaken by our academics in the CLEAN-Air Africa project feature. We also hear from University of Liverpool Afro Caribbean Society (ACS) member and second year Law student Ophelia Stone about the support the society offers to its 250 members.

The magazine is a celebration of our inspiring alumni community, and we hope that you feel proud of being a part of it.

You’ll notice that the magazine looks a little different this year. In our latest alumni survey, you told us that you’d prefer to receive our communications in a digital format. So, this year we’ve developed an online magazine that we hope you will find accessible and engaging.

Producing a digital magazine also helps us to be more sustainable, something which is important to our University and contributes to our sustainability goals, an area where we have recently been ranked 50th in the latest QS rankings.

Your feedback means a lot to us, and we’d love to hear your thoughts on this year’s edition. Please complete this short survey here.

And finally, we’d like to thank you for being a valued member of our wonderful alumni community.

We hope you enjoy reading this year’s magazine here.
