Celebrating LivWiSE’s 10th anniversary

Published on

This year is LivWiSE (Liverpool Women in Science and Engineering) society’s 10th anniversary. We are celebrating a decade of working with staff, students, industry and the wider community to raise the profile and representation of women, non-binary and underrepresented groups in the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering, Maths and Medicine (STEMM).

During our ten years, we have been involved with over 150 events, gained 1200 members and more than 2400 X (Twitter) followers.  We have hosted some amazing events and guest speakers including Holly Ridings NASA Chief Flight Director, who joined us to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the moon landings.

LivWiSE is an inclusive space, open to anyone and everyone, though we particularly welcome women and non-binary people who have a passion for all things STEMM.

If you are interested in joining LivWiSE, to be added to our database and receive our newsletter, please email livwise@liverpool.ac.uk with your:
