AMBA accreditation confirms Management School's place among global elite

We are delighted to announce that the Management School has been awarded accreditation from the internationally regarded Association of MBAs (AMBA). This achievement means ULMS joins a group of globally elite Management Schools carrying the triple crown accreditation of EQUIS, AACSB and AMBA.

The Management School has achieved the Athena SWAN silver award, indicating its commitment to gender equality and diversity. Athena SWAN encourages and recognises good practices in higher education and research institutions towards the advancement of equality and diversity. ULMS becomes only the third business school in the UK to achieve the silver award.

Justin Ferbey

Alumni Spotlight

In this edition of our alumni spotlight, we sat down with MBA graduate Justin Ferbey. Justin is currently Deputy Minister of the Yukon Government’s Department of Economic Development and holds the concurrent position of CEO and President of the Yukon Development Corporation, a crown-corporation responsible for energy investments. Justin played an instrumental role in negotiating a self-government treaty for his First Nation community of Carcross Tagish in Yukon, Canada.

Research Spotlight

Professor Pippa Hunter-Jones, Dr Lynn Sudbury-Riley and Dr Ahmed Al-Abdin initiated a research project to improve the delivery of palliative and end-of-life care for patients and their families. The research has been highlighted as one of the Management School’s ‘Research Impact’ cases and has gone on to inform government policy.
