Javier is a very well-known Leader in the Energy industry, after graduating he became President and Chief Executive Officer of large blue-chip firms such as Mitsubishi, Highview or Wärtsilä.
He has taken Global Leading roles based in China, Italy, the Netherlands, Finland, Spain and is based currently in the UK as the President and CEO of Mitsubishi Power in Europe, Middle East and Africa, with the mission to accelerate decarbonisation and combating climate change in an affordable and reliable manner. He currently leads more than 18,000 employees.
His vision and drive has made him become a recognisable figure in energy transition and has been working with governments across the world in their plans for decarbonisation
