Since graduation Zoe has worked within the legal profession in a variety of roles and areas, including working as part of the team at DWF on their Equality & Diversity Strategy bringing team cohesion through her ability to network and promote the firm.
She says her time at the University helped boost her confidence, developed her leadership style and improved her technical writing skills thanks to the volunteering opportunities in her final year with the award-winning Liverpool Law School, something she continues to this day with the School of Law and Social Justice Professional Mentoring Programme.
Zoe is an active member of the Liverpool Law School Alumni Association, attending events in Liverpool and London and advocating for young alumni to become active members of the Association.
She currently has two active mentees who she provides support and advice to. “It is really rewarding when I receive messages saying those I have helped have achieved their goals. I would encourage anyone thinking about volunteering to get involved! The University has so many networking events and programmes. I benefited from the mentors I had at University so I wanted to give something back and this award will be shared with those who still guide me to this day.
