Since graduation, Holly has held a number of roles in marketing including working at The Hut Group on the brand ‘Preloved’ before joining veterinary CPD company, The Webinar Vet. In her current role she helps struggling business owners with LinkedIn and business support.
The Management School’s Alumni Engagement Officer, Hannah Norris, who nominated Holly for this award, said: “Whenever the team approach Holly with a volunteering opportunity, she is always keen to help out – and does so with passion and enthusiasm.”
Amongst other things, Holly stepped in at the last minute to mentor a current Psychology student who was taking part in the Liverpool Business Competition and helped design mock-logos for her business idea. She has also met with EQUIS accreditors when they visited to the School helping to secure the EQUIS Accreditation.
Holly is enthusiastic about offering students her time and experience. “It’s great to be able to give back and help those who were once in the same situation as me way back when! I am passionate about being able to speak to students and having an impact delivering lectures, careers and Fresher’s talks and helping with graduate employment initiatives.”
She is also very vocal when promoting National Volunteers’ Week and in 2019, was quoted in The Sunday Times for research by Savills estate agency which concluded that Liverpool was the best place in Britain to be a young graduate.
