About the event

A very special event in the beautiful surroundings of Fairmont Peace Hotel to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the sister city relationship between Liverpool and Shanghai.

Date: Wednesday 17 April

Arrival and welcome drink from: 6pm

Speeches: 6.20pm

Buffet and networking: 7pm– 8pm

Venue: Fairmont Peace Hotel

In attendance will be the Vice-Mayor of Liverpool, Gary Millar, and a delegation from the University of Liverpool including Professor Gavin Brown, Pro-Vice-Chancellor for Education; Tim Seamans Director of External Relations and Liverpool alumnus (BA Hons Politics 1998); Christina Turner, Director of Development and Alumni Relations; Anita Irving, Deputy Director of Alumni Engagement; and representatives from businesses, including Arup, Proton Partners, Alder Hey Children’s NHS Foundation Trust, True Partnerships, and Hill Dickinson, among others.

Guests will also enjoy Liverpool-themed cocktails from Liverpool Gin, sponsored by Halewood Wines & Spirits, and a goody bag.
