Meet the Speakers:
π Hannah Merchant (BA Hons English Literature 2022) is a Global Engagement and Project Officer at Universities UK International, strengthening UK-EU higher education ties. A passionate advocate for EDI, she has received multiple awards for her humanitarian and advocacy work. She also mentors students from non-traditional backgrounds, supporting access to education.
π Connor Wood (LLB Hons Law with Politics 2023) is a Graduate in Investment & Trading Compliance at Pictet Asset Management. He began on Pictetβs Graduate Programme, gaining experience in Institutional RFPs, equity research, and business risk across London and Geneva. Now in compliance, he applies his expertise in risk management and financial regulations.
π Fatima Jammeh (BA Hons Business Economics 2022) is a Treasury Risk Analyst, specialising in Interest Rate Risk in the Banking Book. Starting in Operational Risk at Santander, she now focuses on risk reporting, compliance, and process improvement. She is also pursuing FRM certification and the CFA charter to deepen her financial risk expertise.
π Tom White (BSc Hons Economics 2022) is an Associate in the Securitised Products team at NatWest, having completed the Structured Finance Graduate Scheme. He holds a UEFA C License in football coaching and is the manager of Tower Hamlets Women's FC. His other interests include Ballroom and Latin dancing.
