About the event

Join us for an engaging session with David Alexander (BDS Dental Surgery 1975), a distinguished healthcare professional and leader in global health communications. As the Principal and Owner of Appolonia Global Health Sciences LLC, David has dedicated his career to bridging science and health through collaboration with experts from various disciplines. With over 23 years of experience as a Dental Officer in the Royal Navy and numerous directorial roles in prominent health organisations, he has significantly influenced oral health practices worldwide.

In his role as an Adjunct Professor of Epidemiology and Health Promotion at New York University’s College of Dentistry, David continues to inspire the next generation of dental professionals. His commitment to improving global health is evident through his work as an Ambassador for the Affordable Health Initiative and his involvement with organisations like the FDI World Dental Federation and the American Academy of Periodontology.

David’s extensive background includes supporting new product development in multinational pharmaceutical companies, and he has played a pivotal role in advancing oral health initiatives across continents.
