About the event
Join me on 20 September for an exclusive evening at the Hong Kong Football Club with Dr Rick Parry (BSc Hons Mathematics 1976, Hon LLD 2008), former CEO of Liverpool Football Club and the Football Association’s Premier League, as he talks about his career at Liverpool and beyond.
In addition to his career in football, Dr Parry has held numerous advisory roles in the sports industry. After leaving his Liverpool FC role in 2009 he chaired the Sports Betting Integrity Panel and in 2011 acted as a special adviser to the Culture, Media and Sport Select Committee on its inquiry into football governance.
He has acted as advisor to Manchester's Olympic Games bid and was Chief Executive of the Manchester Phoenix Initiative, a major urban regeneration project which culminated in the establishment of the Central Manchester Development Corporation. Currently Dr Parry is the Chair of the University of Liverpool's Management School Advisory Board and sits on the Board of Directors for the New York Cosmos football club.
We are delighted that Rick will be joining us at this exclusive event to talk about his extensive career. To ensure our guests enjoy a small, intimate gathering with the opportunity to meet Rick and ask questions, places are strictly limited to 50.
Tickets are priced at HK$400 for both alumni and non-alumni. Your ticket price includes a luxury buffet dinner and free-flowing drinks (alcoholic & non-alcoholic). Click on the link below to secure your tickets for this special event.
