Veterinary Alumni Weekend

Saturday 10 November 2018

Barrie Edwards

Join us for a weekend of social and professional development activities as part of the Veterinary Alumni Association's annual Veterinary Alumni Weekend this November.

The Alumni Association is hoping to get as many graduates involved as possible and guests are also welcome to attend the weekend's activities. This year is the 10th anniversary for the European Capital of Culture and with more events than ever in the city, it is the ideal time to come back and see Liverpool. Visit Culture Liverpool 2018 for upcoming events and see below for the alumni weekend schedule.

This year's Barrie Edwards Memorial Lecture will be delivered by Professor Derek Knottenbelt OBE MRCVS, who was recently awarded the Inspiration Award in the 2018 RCVS honours, in recognition for inspiring generations of veterinary students, residents and specialists.

The weekend is open to all Veterinary Alumni and their partners but if you are thinking of organising a reunion, this weekend is the perfect opportunity to do so. We can help contact classmates, spread the word on social media and organise tours of the campus to coincide with your reunion.

Even if you are only considering arranging a reunion, let us know as we’d love to help! You might discover that a fellow classmate is also thinking of organising a reunion. Email us on alumni@liverpool.ac.uk.
