Alumni events

Liverpool at the Lords

Friday 23 June, 6.30pm

Houses of Parliament

Alumni are invited to join us at an exclusive reception in the surroundings of one of Britain’s most iconic buildings, the House of Lords.

The event will be hosted by alumnus, Lord Storey CBE (BEd Hons 1980), former Lord Mayor of Liverpool and the Liberal Democrat party’s spokesman for education, families and young people. Guests will have the opportunity to network with fellow graduates as well as senior University staff over drinks and canapés on the Terrace by the Thames, before embarking on a behind the scenes tour.

Vice-Chancellor, Professor Janet Beer, will also be attending the event with an update on our progress towards achieving our ambitious vision set out in Strategy 2026, and the ways in which Liverpool continues to make a global impact via our world-leading research and through the contributions of our alumni community. Our graduates play an ever more important role in our success and, during the course of the evening; we would like to encourage you to play a part in making that vision a reality.

Tickets for the event are priced at £48.00 per person and include refreshments and the tour.

Please note the event is now full and we will not be taking any further bookings.

Please note, you will be sent your approved-entry invitation which is your ticket for the event by Monday 19 June 2017. All guests must bring the approved-entry invitation as well as a form of government recognised ID, such as passport or driving license on the day. If you do not bring these with you, you will not be permitted entry to the event.
