Up-close with The Right Honourable Sir Brian Leveson

Thursday 9 March, 2017, 6.30pm

Brian Leveson
Alumni are invited to attend a special event entitled Criminal Justice in the 21st Century with the President of the Queen's Bench Division, The Right Honourable Sir Brian Leveson (Hon LLD 2007). The lecture is being hosted by the Liverpool Law School Alumni Association at our London campus.

Sir Brian, who was born in Liverpool and was awarded an Honorary LLD by the University in 2007, has had a distinguished career spanning almost 50 years. He is perhaps best known for chairing the public inquiry into the culture, practices and ethics of the British press, prompted by the News of the World phone hacking affair.

The evening will be a great opportunity to listen to a prestigious and highly regarded speaker, network with fellow Law graduates and those who are working in the legal profession and hear the latest news from both the Law School and the University.

The event will be held on Thursday 9 March at the University of Liverpool in London University Campus, 33 Finsbury Square, London EC2A 1AG, and will begin at 6.30pm.

Please note due to unforseen circumstances, this event has now been postponed until later in the year.

For more information about this event, please contact our Events Coordinator, James Briginshaw, on +44 (0)151 795 5512 or email him via: james.briginshaw@liverpool.ac.uk.
