Entrepreneurship: From Study to Start Up

Wednesday 18 November, 6.00pm

University Square and the Victoria Building

Dear ,

To coincide with Global Entrepreneurship Week and to celebrate the launch of the Entrepreneurship Professional Interest Network, the University of Liverpool Management School is delighted to be hosting a panel discussion with some of our experienced entrepreneurial graduates.

From study to start-up will see alumni describing their businesses and road to success, what they learned, the advantages and drawbacks, what they would do again and, of course, what they wouldn’t!

Join Victoria Brown (BSc Hons Psychology 2003) Director and Founder of High Performance Consultancy; Dr Kevin Johnson (BSc Hons Chemistry 1993, PhD Chemistry 1997) MD of Surface Transformations; and David Williams (BA Business Studies 2012) and Oliver Press (LLB 2013) co-founders of Independent Liverpool for an evening of insight, guidance and honesty!

The event will take place at 6.00pm on Wednesday 18 November in Launch 22’s incubator space on Tithebarn Street, Liverpool. Tickets are £5 and places must be booked in advance via the link below.

All proceeds from this event will go to the Michael McKenzie Memorial Fund, named in memory of former Director of the Management School, Professor Michael McKenzie, who sadly passed away in April 2015.

For more information about this event, please contact Jayne Murphy (Alumni Relations Manager) on +44 (0)151 795 4607 or email: jayne.murphy@liverpool.ac.uk.

Best wishes,

Jayne Murphy
