Let's invest in our planet together this #EarthDay

Posted on: 17 April 2023 by Development and Alumni Relations Team in 2023

Some members of the Development and Alumni Relations team joined a University volunteer clean up day at Birkdale dunes.

As we prepare for Earth Day on Saturday 22 April 2023, we are asking our global alumni community to make a pledge for change towards a sustainable future. Earth Day is celebrated to raise awareness about the importance and urgency of environmental protection and this year the theme is ‘invest in our planet’; highlighting the importance of dedicating our time, resources, and energy to solving climate change and other environmental issues.

This Earth Day, let us take a moment to reflect on the impact of our actions on the environment and make a pledge towards creating a better and more sustainable future. When we invest in our planet together, we can make a difference and create a better world for ourselves and future generations to come.

By making a pledge our community can support making the world a better place one action at a time.
